The Rachael Ray Showview feature on RachaelRayShow.com

It seems like every day there is a fabulous new procedure or product that transforms the beauty industry, so dermatologist Dr. Whitney Bowe visit Rachael Ray and is telling about about the latest trends, including lipo that doesn’t require going under the knife and an $11 brow product that claims to last 3-7 days!

No. 1: Semi-Permanent Brow Tattoos, or Microblading

If you are brow-challenged and are looking for a more long-lasting effect than using a brow pencil, this might be the technique you’ve been waiting for. “It’s basically a temporary semi-permanent tattoo that creates this very cool 3D effect on the eyebrow,” Dr. Bowe explained. The pigment is placed higher in the skin than with a regular tattoo, which means that it won’t create a permanent effect, and you’ll have the opportunity to update your eyebrows every year or two as trends evolve.

Cost: $700-$900, maintain every year.

No. 2: Brow Tinting using Etude House: Tint My Brow

This fun and inexpensive product creates a tinted effect that lasts for days. Just paint on the product, and leave it on for two hours to overnight. Peel off the dried product, then you’ll be good to go for 3-7 days — and you won’t have to worry about rain or pool water rinsing it off!

Cost: $11 per tube.

No. 3: Surgery-Free Liposuction with “ThermiSmooth”

If you’re looking for some of the benefits of liposuction like tightening and flattening, but want to avoid all the baggage that comes with a surgical procedure, this might be for you. But Dr. Bowe cautioned that you won’t get the same results from this procedure, which shrinks fat cells and stimulates collagen production, as you would with surgery. “With these non-surgical tightening procedures, it’s more like you’re getting to second base [than hitting a home run],” Dr. Bowe said. “So if you’re okay with like a 5 out of 10, this comes with a lot of perks because it’s a lot easier to go through.”

Cost: $600/per procedure about $2-$3k total.
